If you’ve ever been to Golden Corral, you know their dinner rolls are legendary — golden brown on the outside, unbelievably soft and fluffy inside. This homemade version tastes just like the restaurant’s, maybe even better! Perfect for family dinners, holidays, or when you just need fresh-baked comfort on the table. With simple pantry ingredients and a little love, you can create bakery-worthy rolls that will have everyone asking for seconds.
In a large bowl, mix warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5–7 minutes until foamy.
Add egg, melted butter, salt, and flour. Mix until a dough forms.
Knead on a floured surface for 6–8 minutes until smooth.
Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour until doubled.
Punch down dough, divide into 12 equal balls, and place on a baking tray.
Cover and let rise again for 30 minutes.
Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 15 minutes until golden. Brush with melted butter while hot.
