
Add the white wine and let it reduce by half, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan. Stir in the vegetable broth, thyme, basil, and tomato paste. Let it simmer for 5 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.

Return the tuna steaks to the pan, spooning some sauce over them. Simmer for another 2-3 minutes to heat the tuna through.
